As the world marks International Human Rights Day on December 10, we stand in solidarity with those demanding truth, justice, and dignity for all. While we continue to witness intolerable suffering and repression in countries like Syria, Congo, and Egypt, we remind those in positions of power everywhere: there can be no sustainable peace if massive human rights violations are left unaddressed.
On Monday, December 10, the International Center for Transitional Justice will help tell the stories of victims and human rights activists at the forefront of the struggle for human rights across the globe.
Send us images and texts that portray efforts seeking accountability, truth, remembrance, and redress in your community: we will share them on ICTJ’s Facebook page, and feature a selection of these stories on our website.
Email your photos to communications@ictj.org, or send a message to ICTJ on our Facebook page.
On this International Human Rights Day, let us help voices demanding truth, justice and dignity be heard in all corners of the world.
