As Communications Associate for ICTJ’s Arabic online presence and outreach, Firas manages the development, design, editing, and dissemination of Arabic-language communications products, and contributes to ICTJ’s overall digital communications strategy. He joined ICTJ in 2019 with more than 7 years of professional experience in communications, multimedia production and social work. Before joining ICTJ, Firas worked for several international nonprofits and media corporations, volunteered for Lebanese & Syrian civil society organizations, and co-managed a municipal electoral campaign for an independent group in Beirut. Firas holds a BA in Communication Arts from the Lebanese American University, and a Cinematography certification from the Lebanese Film Academy.
