Claudia Ximena Vega Parra

Claudia Ximena manages operations in ICTJ’s Colombia office. Before joining ICTJ in 2017, she worked in management at various civil society organizations in Colombia and other Latin American countries for 18 years. In these type of organizations, she has found a unique role for herself in which she is able to contribute to efforts to advance social welfare through her knowledge of grant and project management, donor services, fundraising, capacity building, and other managerial skills. As a manager, she strives to build bridges between the finance and programmatic teams and achieve an agile and cost-effective operation that is accountable to partners, donors, and communities. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with my family, traveling, listening to music, and reading.
