Support ICTJ

Help us continue our work towards building a more just and peaceful world by making a gift today.

ICTJ helps communities affected by mass human rights abuse and repression confront past injustices. We go beyond reporting and advocacy, working with people on the ground who are trying to achieve justice, and make sure their voices are heard by decision-makers. Read more about us.

What Your Gift Can Do

A rapidly changing environment makes it essential for us to have the resources to respond quickly where we are needed. Funding from individuals helps to make this possible. Here are some instances where ICTJ has responded quickly to new needs:

  • An ICTJ expert traveled to Tunisia in February 2011 to provide technical advice to human rights advocates and members of the interim government.
  • ICTJ sent a transitional justice expert to advise on accountability measures during the Doha peace negotiations on the situation in Darfur.
  • ICTJ supports victims of war crimes in Afghanistan explore and articulate their experiences, and develop theater performances to help raise awareness of the impunity with which their rights have been abused.
