Lebanese lawyers representing a number of Syrian refugees in North Lebanon filed a lawsuit against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the International Criminal Court (ICC), Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anbaa reported on Thursday.
“[The lawyers accused] Assad of committing murder, war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity,” the report said, adding that the lawsuit also included anyone the investigation reveal as an accomplice to the aforementioned accusations.
